14 Days Guatemala & Honduras – Short Program Day 1 – Arrival & Antigua Arrival in Guatemala City, transfer to Antigua, check-in, short evening stroll. Day 2 – Antigua Colonial City Guided city tour, visit to important churches, squares, and viewpoints. Free time in the afternoon. Day 3 – Volcanic Landscape Around Antigua Excursion to the volcanic region (easy tour/viewpoint), afternoon at leisure. Day 4 – Drive to Lake Atitlán Transfer to Lake Atitlán, check-in at the hotel, time to relax with a lake view. Day 5 – Villages on Lake Atitlán Boat tour to 2-3 villages, visit to artisans and weavers, return in the afternoon. Day 6 – Chichicastenango & Highlands Drive to Chichicastenango (market visit depending on the day of the week), continue to Quetzaltenango. Day 7 – Highland Experience Light activity in the highlands (hot springs, walk, or village visit), glimpse into everyday life. Day 8 – Onward to Copán (Honduras) Return east, border crossing, arrival in Copán Ruinas, evening in town. Day 9 – Copán Mayan Site Guided tour of the Copán excavations, optional visit to Macaw Mountain or a coffee plantation. Day 10 – Copán Area Excursion into the rural surroundings: e.g., coffee plantation, village project, horseback riding, or a light hike. Day 11 – Copán – Río Dulce Return to Guatemala, onward travel to Río Dulce, boat transfer to the hotel on the river. Day 12 – Río Dulce & Livingston Boat tour on the Río Dulce to Livingston, stops at natural highlights, return or overnight stay. ... Day 13 – Return to Guatemala City Return to Guatemala City, farewell evening in the capital. Day 14 – Departure Transfer to the airport, return flight.
